"Yo no se?" Funny, inasmuch as everyone talks about multiculturalism at Normandale and UST, I didn't hear a word about Cinco de Mayo. Yours was the first reminder that a major Mexican festival is on today---and you live in Japan.

On a happier note, those cakes are adorable, even if the little helmet is symbolic of Japanese militarism (according to MacArthur) and by inference Japanese imperialism. I don't want to be in sympathy at all with Japanese nationalists, but it doesn't seem fair that boys' day gets short shrift.
